Seville's main tourist season is between August and September and during periods of annual festivals. It is a pleasure to see the city during the holidays. Sevilla hosts a festival of one-week religious bleak, known as Holy Week (Semana Santa). During the festival, March hooded penitents in the crowded streets of large floats followed.
